the tin man is my all time favorite classical movie

i may not be born when the time it was shown in 1934 even it's television series on 1950's where william powell and myrna roy stars in a detective film intitled the tin man. the movie is based from the detective novel of dashiell hammett with the same title, the tin man who also wrote the sequel on the movie where roy and powell starred. i had the chance to see the film and the series during the christmast and new year holiday break where i was fascinated with the flow of the story. the story is about a former private detective name nick charles who i s a son of a greeek immigrant and with a wife named nora. they don't have a son but they have a dog named asta. the story happens where nick without any choice accepted the job to investigate a murder where they ended up having contact to a somewhat grotesque family. the character off nick and nora represents hammett and his long time lover lilliam hellman.
